The city-based Naruvi hospital has treated about 2.20 lakh patients in the last 1.5 years, according to the hospital management. Speaking to reporters from the hospital premises, chairman of the hospital GV Sampath said, “In the last 1.5 years ever since the hospital was established in the city, doctors have provided treatments in various specialties including gynecology, cardio, liver, diabetics, blood pressure, knee replacement surgeries, and neuro among others to people across the country and from foreign countries. So far, we have treated over 2.20 lakh patients at the hospital.”
Setting up a separate ward to treat Covid-19 patients, we have treated about 3,543 patients and we have treated 602 pregnant women to deliver babies without much complications, he said and added that they have treated 1,113 patients who had heart-related ailments and 4,735 patients who admitted to the hospital on emergency basis.
