National Conference on Advanced Research in Mechanical Sciences

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani Campus has organized a National Conference on Advanced Research in Mechanical Sciences – ARMS’24 on 23^rd February 2024.Dr. R. Rajaraman, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. Dr. C. Gomathy, Vice Principal (Academics and Placements) appreciated the team for coming up with great events where networking can bring in lot of knowledge sharing. Dr.C.V.Jayakumar, Dean, FET, delivered a special address and encouraged the participants to share their findings in research. Dr.S.Ramachandran, Director (Academics), SRM Group delivered the felicitation address.

The Chief Guest,Shri.Sankarananth. M, General Manager – Project Planning, Ashok Leyland in his inaugural address urged that the engineering students should learn subjects on “Economics in Engineering”.

Shri.Venkatasubramanian C, Senior General Manager, Plant Head – Small Commercial Vehicles, TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited, was the Guest of Honour and explained the need for “Re-invent, Renew and Revolutionize”. Dr. P. HajaSyedduMasooth proposed the vote of thanks.
