National Librarian's Day celebrated

Nanda College of Pharmacy and Medical Colleges celebrated 130th National Librarian's Day. A. Shanmugan, President of Sri Nanda Education Foundation, attended the function as the special guest and inaugurated it by lighting the lamp. 

Also the secretaries Nandakumar Pradeep, Thirumurthy, Chief Administrative Officers Dr. Arumugam, Dr. 
M. Krishnamurthy,  James, Principals of Nanda College of Pharmacy and Indian Medical Colleges spoke about the merits of the library. 

The special guest Erode Kadir spoke on the father of Indian Library Science Ranganathan.
He compared the five rules of the library with the lifestyle of the students and explained the advantages and disadvantages of social networking sites. 

Prizes and Best Librarian Award were given to the students. At the end Gladys Kalpana delivered the vote of thanks.
