NCC: Basic Leadership Camp commenced

2 TN Air Sqn NCC conducted the Basic Leadership Camp for the cadets of NCC Directorate of TN, Puducherry and Andaman ,Nicobar (NCC Dte TN,P &AN) for the training year 2022–23. It was arranged  by Col. BVS Shiva Rao, Group Commander, NCC Group HQ Coimbatore and held at  Nehru College of Arts and Science, Thirumalayampalyam, between Nov 19 and 26 under the command of Wing Commander S Nitin, Commanding Officer, 2 TN Air Sqn NCC. Concurrently, the unit is holding its Annual Training Camp III for JD and JW school children. 

NCC Leadership Camp

Of 350 cadets in the camp, 50 cadets will represent the NCC Directorate (TN, P& An) in the Advanced Leadership Camp slated to be held on Jan 2023.  Naval Officers from INS Agrani, and Seasoned Army Officers from the NCC Gp HQ Cbe, will speak on Career opportunities and roles and branches in the Navy. 

This camp will also include guest lectures by Mr. Sathiyamurthy, Spiegel foundation on the topic I Am Born To Win and Lt Col Ms Bharath, CO 4 TN BN NCC, who is a decorated NSG Commando on his personal experience in counter terrorist operations. This camp commenced  with the opening address by Col BVS Shiva Rao.
