NCC camp of KASC

Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode, conducted a week long NCC camp from Jan 30 from at Nattakkatupalayam Panchayat Union Primary School near Vellodu. College Correspondent P.D.Thangavel, Principal H Vasudevan, NCC officer Dhyaneswaran attended the valedictory and distributed prizes to students.

The students arranged awareness campaign on Swachh Bharat, small savings, education, importance of reading books, consumer awareness, applications of meditation and yoga, plantation of saplings,  cleanliness etc. Whitewashing of the campus wall, painting, laying of water pipe were done.  The college donated Rs1.5 lakh worth desk, table and chair to the school. 

Two computers were provided by the college's department of computer sciences to the school.
