New app in Kerala for liquor sales!

New app in Kerala for liquor sales!

Kerala is planning to introduce a new mobile app for liquor sales. The announcement has been made and preparations are in full swing for the same.
With this, customers will no longer have to wait in long queues in front of liquor shops, Kerala state liquor company ‘Bevco’ has said.
While liquor lovers have welcomed the announcement made by ‘Bevco’ that “Now, if you choose your favorite drinks and pay online, they will come to your home,” opposition parties and social activists have registered strong opposition.
This issue has now become a topic of debate. No matter how you look at it, this will not only increase the sale of liquor, but will also increase the number of people drinking alcohol. New customers will also be attracted to liquor,  because, the society has changed to the point where there is no one without a smartphone.
While promoting the idea that ``drinking alcohol is bad for your health,'' introducing an app that encourages people to drink alcohol may be a source of joy for alcohol lovers. But no one can deny that this is definitely shocking news for family heads and parents.
Closing down liquor shops completely may not be possible in the current environment. Therefore, courts have been advising state governments from time to time to take steps to reduce the number of liquor shops.
In this situation, is an app to encourage the sale of liquor is necessary. Without looking for reasons, the Kerala state government should reconsider the app project.
