New classroom buildings at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore in govt school

More than 650 students are studying in Nanjappagoundan Valasu Government Higher Secondary School near Surambatti Valasu, Erode.  There are currently 12 classrooms out of a requirement of 21 classrooms.  Knowing about this, the owner of the private company Alice Blue Pvt Ltd Siddha Velayutham assured to construct  classrooms, toilets and school compound wall for the  school.  Based on that, Bhoomi Pooja was held to build classroom buildings at an estimated cost of Rs 1.50 crore under Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Nam Palli Nam Perumai scheme.  The School was started in 1963 as a primary school.  It was upgraded to Middle School in 1985, High School in 2011 and upgraded to Higher Secondary School in 2021.  Siddha Velayutham, Parent Teacher Association President Subramanian, School Management Committee President Mahalakshmi, School Headmaster Rajesh and other officials of the education department attended the event.
