NGO honours frontline workers

Aatral Foundation, NGO, honoured nearly 3500 sanitary workers, washermen, cremation and burial ground workers, drivers, leaders of 15 NGOs by giving appreciation certificates, dress and food etc by arranging a function at Kollampalayam, Erode on Sunday.
In his speech, the NGO founder Aatral Ashokkumar said ''the function was arranged to honour all frontline workers who were serving for others''.
The NGO decided to hold this kind of programme every year during the Akshaya Tritiya in different districts.''
Lauding their service, Ashokkumar advised the workers to give good education to their wards as education would alone bring due honour to one. ''Nowadays, the government schools are good. The government itself is giving scholarship for women to pursue higher studies. The NGO itself is improving the infrastructure of many government schools.
If the people cite any need of any school, the NGO is ready to fulfill the need'', he assured and advised them to maintain strict discipline in life.
''Visiting temple, church or mosque for worship would help us maintain discipline'', he noted.
