Nilgiris Collector felicitates winners on the last day of Rose show

On the final day of the 19th Rose Show at the Rose Garden, Nilgiris Collector M Aruna felicitated the winners of various competitions held during the event. The show, which began on May 10th, successfully attracted 66,334 tourists, offering a visual feast of roses in myriad colors and dimensions.

A standout feature of the Rose Show was the impressive animal structures made with 1,60,000 coloured roses, designed to raise awareness about wildlife conservation. The event also included numerous cultural activities, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

At the closing ceremony, Collector M Aruna distributed prizes and certificates to the competition winners. The event saw the participation of key officials, including Director of the Horticulture Department Shipila Mary and Deputy Director of the Horticulture Department Aphrose Begum, alongside other government representatives.
