Nilgiris Collector inaugurates skill development program for tribals

Nilgiris District Collector Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneeru inaugurated  the employment skill guidance camp for tribals organized by Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.  More than 200 tribal youth participated in the event.
She said Chief Minister has announced various special schemes for the welfare of tribal people living in Nilgiri district.
The skill development camp is being held to help tribal youth in the district. She advised tribal youth to use the scheme. 
Coimbatore is the nearest to the district where various private companies are ready to provide employment.
Dr. Udayakumar, Director of Tribal Research Center, District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer (P) Mr. Shakthivel,  and Tribal Welfare Department Project Manager (Chennai) Mr. Ponvaithianathan, representatives of private companies were present.
