Nilgiris Collector meets party representatives to discuss about rationalisation of voting stations

Nilgiris Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneru held a consultation meeting with representatives of various political parties on September 6 to discuss the rationalisation of voting stations in the district. The meeting took place at the Nilgiris District Collector's office, where the collector sought feedback and opinions from party representatives on the proposed changes to the 689 voting stations in the Ooty, Coonoor, and Gudalur assembly constituencies.

The district election officer and collector also encouraged the party representatives to express any disagreements or concerns they had regarding the changes discussed during the meeting. Several key officials, including District Revenue Officer Narayanan, Gudalur Revenue Officer Senthil, and Coonoor Municipality Officer Sasikala, were present at the consultation.
