Nilgiris Collector provides Rs. 1.06 cr benefits to 107 persons

The Nilgiris District Collector M. Aruna distributed Rs 1.06 crore worth  government benefits to 107 beneficiaries at a mass  contact program held at Balakola Panchayat, Utagai Panchayat Union on Wednesday.

She said the Chief Minister has announced various welfare  schemes for the benefit of the public and is implementing them in an excellent manner.  Also, according to his instructions, the officials will go directly to the places of public to attend theirs grievances.

In addition to receiving petitions from the public, welfare benefits were given to eligible beneficiaries. 
In today's camp, of 95 public petitions  71 petitions have been accepted. She explained various government schemes to public on the occasion.
