Nirmala College hosts meet on women's equality at Coimbatore

Nirmala College for Women inaugurated its International Conference titled "Women's Equality, Protection, and Empowerment" as part of the SHEROES FEST 2024. 
The event, themed "Her Rights, Her Voice, Her Power," was held from August 24 to Rev.Sr.Dr. Mary Fabiola, Principal of Nirmala College for Women, delivered welcome address. 
Rev.Sir.Dr. Kulandai Therese, the Secretary of the college, offered words of commendation.
Ms. Thiviya Sanmugam, General Secretary of PWPC, delivered a prelude for the conference, stating that empowering women is key to transforming society.
The inaugural address was delivered by Ms. Nirmala Rawat, a philanthropist and the founder of Seva Genava, who also serves as the President - Advisor and Operational Committee of PWPC. 
The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Song Sokleap, a prominent figure in the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia and a technical delegate for the Asian Games. 
Dr. Mirudhubashini, an alumna and the Clinical Director of the Women’s Centre in Coimbatore released the souvenir and it was  received by Ms. Song Sokleap.
Dr. Mirudhubashini and  Dr. C.A. Vasuki, esteemed alumnae of Nirmala College, 
Ms. Padmini from the Department of Tamil, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Retired AKS N Sundara Vadivelu, Retiring Governor of RID 3201, appreciated all the contemporary women on the dais.
Rev. Sir.Dr. S. Emelda Mary, Vice Principal of the College proposed vote of thanks.
