Chennai has completed the Nochi Art District at the TNUHDB tenements on the Marina loop road, marking the first city in the country with two ongoing art districts. The district, organized in association with Asian Paints and the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, is the 7th art district in the country and the state's third open-air and open-to-all public art gallery. The Nochikuppam tenements of TNUHDB have been transformed into vibrant canvas during the first edition of the district, featuring captivating murals reflecting the spirit of the community.
