Nurturing Management Graduates to Lead Resilient Organisations

GRG School of Management Studies (GRGSMS-PSGR Krishnammal College for Women) Industry Day 2022 seeks to deliberate on the strategies for nurturing management graduates for building and leading resilient organisations. Panellists will share their perspectives and experiences and address the following questions: How can companies prepare for inevitable large disruptions? What strategies do organisations need to deploy to build a resilient organisation? What can management institutes do to embed resilience in management graduates? What is the role of academia in preparing students to build resilient organisation? Along with representatives from Industry and academia, students will also share their perspectives and debate on the topic: Can all organisations build resilience over a period of time? The panelists were Dr V Kovaichelvan, Director, TVS Institute for Quality & Leadership, TVS Motor Company, Bangaluru. Mr A P Ramachandran, Director, Ravichandra Systems & Computer Services Ltd., Coimbatore. Dr Abhaikumar Varadhan, Principal (retd), Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. Dr Raja Samuel, Principal, Madras School of Social Work, Chennai.Dr P Sadhasivam, Director, GRGSMS moderated the panel discussion. Mr Charles Godwin presided over the debate. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr Vandana Madhavkumar, Associate Professor, Coordinator – Industry Relations, GRGSMS.
