New office bearers and committee members of the Travel Agent Association of Coimbatore (TAAC) assumed charges during the 5th installation ceremony held at a private hotel in the city on Monday. These office bearers and committee members will serve a two-year term from 2025 to 2027.
Rajesh B. Lund, president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended the event as the chief guest, and M. Karthikeyan, CODISSIA president, took part as the guest of honour.
B. Selvaraju was sworn in as the president of TAAC, C. Vishnu Vasanth Kumar as the secretary, and N. Prajesh as the treasurer.
Addressing the gathering, Rajesh said, “The travel industry continues to play a pivotal role in the city’s economic ecosystem. Associations like TAAC are instrumental in building a robust and collaborative environment for sustainable growth.”
Karthikeyan said, “Adapting to digital advancements and innovative service models will define the future of travel and tourism. I congratulate the new TAAC leadership and wish them a progressive tenure.”
The event brought together several members of the travel, tourism, and business fraternity, reflecting TAAC’s motto of ‘Unity for Prosperity.’
