Officer-bearers of Indian spinners association elected

Prashant Mohota, managing director of Gimatex industries limited, has been elected as the president of Indian spinners association during a meeting that took place on September 22. With over 2.25 lakh spindles, the company has an integrated textile plant at Hinganghat near Nagpur and in Ahmedabad. Prakash Maheswari, chief executive of corporate affairs at RSWM limited was elected as vice president of the association. Having about 5.78 lakh spindles, the company produces 32 million metres of Denim fabrics and 6,000 MT of synthetic and cotton knitted fabrics annually. The former president of RSWM limited, ML Jhunjhunwala, was appointed as the executive director.
