Ooty Collector honours the winners in various competitions

District collector Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru distributed certificates to the winners of various competitions that were organized as a part of ‘Tamil Week’ celebration conducted by the district administration. After the Chief Minister MK Stalin announced that poet Bharathidasan’s birth anniversary will be commemorated as the ‘Tamil Week’ by the state government, the district administration has organized various competitions including oratorical, quiz, handwriting, and poem recital both for the public, and government officials. As many as 30 government officials and students won various competitions, and they were awarded by the collector. Additional collector (development) Koushik, district revenue officer Narayanan, Coonoor sub-collector Sangeetha, special collector for social security scheme Radhakrishnan, chief educational officer Nandakumar, superintendent of Tamil development department Vasanthakumari and others attended the event.
