OPS B-Team of DMK: Thangamani

Former CM OPS Team is the B-Team of DMK,  charged former minister and Kumarapalayam MLA P Thangamani. Addressing the AIADMK booth committee meeting to face the bypoll for Erode East segment, here on Friday, he said that as OPS started working for the victory of DMK, we (functionaries of AIADMK) discussed and we including KA Sengottaiyan met him. But, he didn't mend his ways. So,  finally, we decided that a single leadership alone will ensure victory of AIADMK and finally elected EPS as leader of the party. 
Even now the OPS team's aim is to defeat us and work for the victory of DMK, he charged. He said that normally, 70 percent of voters alone would cast vote.  

The rest  of 30 percent voters were either dead,  shifted voters, voters residing in somewhere else. The DMK men would carefully cast such votes to get victory.  They would follow all kind of tantrums to get victory. 
So,  each booth committee member should note such 30 percent of voters, and stay in the booth till the end of polling to check DMK men   cast such votes illegally.

EPS offered many development schemes

He said that now DMK men themselves started asking when EPS would come to power as DMK rule failed in all aspects. EPS offered many development schemes including Athikadavu Avinasi water project without causing  any burden on the people. But now such project work was also not yet completed. Now,  property, water taxes power tariff etc were increased many fold.

The power tariff would be hiked by 6 percent in every June hereafter.  Tasmac liquor is sold everywhere including tea shops. On the other, many welfare schemes were stopped and many poll promises were not yet fulfilled.  So, people's wrath is seen against the rule. It should be capitalized fully by committee members to ensure victory in the bypoll, he pleaded.
