OPS participation and absence of EPS

Bhupendra Patel took office as the Chief Minister of BJP in Gujarat this afternoon. Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O. Panneerselvam participated in this function which was attended by Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. AIADMK Interim General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami is boycotting this ceremony.

In a letter sent by Palaniswami congratulating Bhupendra Patel, he went on record  and said, “Due to the programs already agreed upon, I could not participate in his swearing-in ceremony”. What is more important to him than this ceremony? It is assumed that he deliberately ignored it.

EdappadiPalaniswami recently participated in a T&20 conference in Delhi. At that time no call was sent to O. Panneerselvam. This was seen as a setback for him. Pointing this out, O. PanneerSelvam had written a letter to the Union Government.Following this, he has now gone to Gujarat on the invitation of BJP. But Edappadi Palaniswami, despite the invitation, has ignored the swearing-in ceremony. He is is believed to have skipped the ceremony as Paneerselvam has been invited.

Panneerselvam Talking about AIADMK relationship recently, Tamil Nadu President Annamalai said, 'AIADMK is divided. The party's problem is in the Election Commission and in the court. No one can stay behind and said we,“We will contest the parliamentary elections separately”.

To this former AIADMK Minister D. Jayakumar said,Palaniswami has already made it clear that he is the leader of the alliance. BJP will win only if they have an alliance with us,' he said.

In an interview given by AIADMK, former Minister SellurRaju yesterday, ``As for Gujarat, it is the home town of Amit Shah and Prime Minister Modi. Due to this, the people of the area have voted. BJP is a growing party in Tamil Nadu. He said that BJP will win the parliamentary elections only if it has an alliance with ADMK.

Looking at all this, it is clear that there is a rift in the AIADMK & BJP alliance. It reveals alliance conflict. Political commentators believe that EdappadiPalaniswami will not be concerned if the BJP withdraws from the alliance. Edappadi Palaniswami will never accept O. Panneerselvam. At the same time, BJP does not want to abandon O. Panneerselvam. As long as there is an alliance between the two parties as long as this situation lasts two questions will remain. Which way will the cat on the wall jump? Let's wait and see!
