Orientation Program for SREC students at Coimbatore

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) buzzed with the energy of a budding academic year as it hosted a two-day Orientation Programme for its incoming B.E, B.Tech, and M.Tech CSE (5-Year Integrated Programme) at the college auditorium. 

Dr. A. Soundarrajan, Principal of SREC, extended a warm welcome to the enthusiastic gathering, setting the stage for a transformative experience. Dr. N. R. Alamelu, Director-Academics, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore, felicitated Shri. R. Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, who delivered a stirring presidential address.

Day One saw Shrimathi. Chhaya Balasubramaniam, HR Head at Alstom, Coimbatore, grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. 

Day Two welcomed Shri. Hareesh Janakiraman, Director of Embedded-Guru LLC, Houston, Texas, USA as Chief Guest. 

The program received an inspiring boost further with the presence of esteemed alumni from the Third Batch (1996-2000). Shri. Sakthivel Rajasekar, Director-HR, Cognizant, Coimbatore, and Shri. Palaniappan Somasundaram, Director of Engineering Arm Embedded Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, shared their invaluable insights.  

Dr. Vichitra Sivaji, Professor & Head- Department of English, and Dr. K.Uthayarani, Professor & Head- Department of Physics, proposed vote of thanks.
