Uzhavara Pani in major temples at Tanjore

Over 265 member-devotees of Chennai Iraipani Mandram led by its founder Ganesan alongwith Azhagiya Thanjai project director auditor R Ravichandran and project functionaries conducted Uzhavara Pani (cleansing work) in Tanjore Pragadeeswara temple on July 15, Peruvudaiyar temple on 16, Thiruvaiyaru Aiyarappar Temple on 17 besides over 50 temples coming under the Tanjore Palace Devasthanam. Devasthanam hereditary trustee Tanjore Prince  Baba Raja Bonsle and many dignitaries attended the service and prayer in the Big Temple. Earlier Principal District Judge Nagarajan inaugurated an awareness rally against plastic menace and distributed cloth bags to public at Tanjore. Saplings were planted in the premises of Kaliyuga Venkatesaperumal temple. Auditor Ravichandran and others made arrangements and gave mementoes to all participants of the holy service. Tourism officer Nelson, police inspectors Ravichandran, Chandra, dignitaries Kunjithapatham, Alagappan, Sakthi Alagappan, Valliappan, Santhi, Mohandas, Punyamurthy, Vijayaramalingam, Jaisankar and many others assisted the events.
