Park institutions announces scholarship for Armed forces, their wards

Park institutions on Saturday announced a special scholarship for Armed forces and their children, announced Anusha Ravi, chief executive officer of Park group of institutions.
Commander Aravindhan, retired from Indian Navy, unveiled the special scholarship for armed forces and their wards from the academic year 2024-25.
A two-day inter collegiate cultural festival ‘Zero G’ was held at Park College of Engineering and Technology in the city, and students from 21 colleges took part in the event. As many as 30 competitions like project expo, short film, drawing, photography, code and answer, anime quiz, and reels making were organized.
Singers RK Adithya and S Reshma attended the first day of the fest, Commander RP Aravindhan, retired from Indian Navy and the college alumni, and actress Priya Prakash Varrier attended the fest as special guest on the second day. The closing ceremony was presided over by Anusha.  
In his speech, Commander Aravindhan described the role of armed forces in the present situation and advised students to respect the real heroes and to follow their footsteps by joining the forces.  He also requested the audience to stand and pray for the soldiers standing guard at the borders to stay safe and come back safe.
