Dr. Saravanan Parthasarathy’s 215.35 kms Ride for Women’s Empowerment On International Women’s Day 2025, the spirit of empowerment took on a new form—on two wheels. Dr. Saravanan Parthasarathy, a 43-year-old Army Veteran, Educationist, and Renowned Cyclist, embarked on a powerful mission: to Accelerate Action for Women’s Empowerment through Cycling.
With an impressive record of 13,000 kms covered in previous expeditions, each themed around social causes like "Say No to Drugs," "Save Wildlife," "Save Earth," "Education for All," "Girl Child Education," and "Age Just a Number," Dr. Saravanan Parthasarathy once again set out with a purpose. This time, his focus was on celebrating and advocating for Women's Strength, Resilience, and Equality.
What began as a planned 200 kms journey soon turned into an extraordinary 215.35 kms ride.
"Women have always been the backbone of society. This ride is my tribute to their unwavering strength. It’s not just about distance; it’s about breaking barriers and proving that limits exist only in our minds," said Dr. Saravanan Parthasarathy.
