People besiege Perundurai Sipcot Office

Residents besieged the Perundurai Sipcot project office on Saturday night and staged a protest. Protesting against the leakage of sewage from a private factory in Perundurai, Sipcot on Saturday and demanding the immediate closure of the factory, the residents of the area besieged the Sipcot project office in Perundurai on Saturday night. Perundurai Deputy Superintendent of Police Jayapalan held a discussion with the protesting public. Since it was a holiday on Sunday, the public abandoned the protest and dispersed after talking to the officials who assured to take action on Monday.
