Photography Expo inspires 8,000+ students

Photography Expo inspires 8,000+ students

The students who visited the photo exhibition on tribal lifestyles were deeply fascinated by the information conveyed through the photographs. In particular, the images of the Kotha tribe, who are ardent lovers of nature, greatly impressed the school children. One striking photograph depicted how, in their lifestyle, children are symbolically transformed into trees and worshipped.
Students were fascinated by the fact that these depictions revealed both the age of the Nilgiri forests and the artistic expressions of humans 3,000 years ago. The students said that the exhibition gave them valuable insights.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Mr. V. Mathimaran, a distinguished Documentary Photographer and Photojournalist, and Mr. Siraj Deen, Coordinator of the Wildlife and Nature Conservation Trust, who shared their valuable experiences and knowledge with the students.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. V. Sathisanandan, Head of the Department of Visual Communication, Dr. J. Mahendiran, Station Head of Rathinavani Community Radio, along with Mr. Athreya, Mr. Bayas Ahamed S., Mr. Kailash, Mr. Vignesh, Mr. Saravanan, Ms. G. Gayathri, Ms. A. Divya, and Mr. T. J. Raju, Dean, Student affairs, for their dedicated coordination and support, which played a vital role in making this event a remarkable success.
