Plea to open S&T Park at Erode

The members of public have demanded  opening of a Rs 10 crore science and technology park in Erode.
Various development projects are being carried out under the Central Government's Smart  City Plan under which a sum of Rs.  10 cr was allotted to establish the park for the benefit of students to learn science and technology.

The buildings are constructed at Surampatti check dam site at Muthampalayam using scientific technology.  It has statues of animals like elephant and dinosaur,  model launch pad for rockets, globe, etc. Numerous small tools have also been installed, such as model shapes and key detectors. 

The works in the park completed a few months back. Therefore, the public and school students have demanded the immediate opening of the Science and Technology Park set up in the Erode Muthampalayam Housing Board area.
