Plea to shift Dewaswam office from Temple premises

R Ravi chandran submitted a petition to the HR and CE Minister Sekar Babu at his house  urging him to shift the Tanjore Palace Dewaswam office located within the ancient Vijayaramar temple at Melaveedhi, Tanjore where annual Ramanavami and Anuman jayanthi festivals would be held in grand manner every year to some other place. 

As the office was functioning in the Holy Kodimaram area of the temple with lot of files, account books, tables and chairs etc, the devotees were facing lot of difficulties in worshipping God. 
''If the devotees fell down before the kodimaram to worship God, it is like felling down on the feet of the staff there''. 

So, for the past many years, the devotees represented many times to the government regarding shifting of the office outside the temple premises 
he said and  pleaded to the minister to take action on the issue and fulfill the plea of the devotees without delay.
