Police Randomization starts in Nilgiris ahead of LS elections

As the parliamentary elections approach, electoral officers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a smooth and peaceful electoral process. In line with this effort, police randomization was conducted for three assembly constituencies in the Nilgiris district under the guidance of Electoral Police Observer Prathap Gobendira Yadav on Tuesday.

Preparations for the upcoming elections are underway in full swing across all constituencies. As part of these preparations, police randomization was conducted to assign police officials to duty across 689 polling stations. District Electoral Officer and Nilgiris Collector M Aruna personally visited the Nilgiris Bricks School and Shanthi Vijay Girls High School polling stations to review the basic requirements and safety measures in place.

The District Superintendent of Police Sundaravadivel, Additional Collector Koushik, and other government officials also participated in the event.
