The Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, known as "Poompuhar," will host its annual "Aadi Sale" exhibition from July 5 to July 31 at their showroom located at 1239, Big Bazaar Street, Coimbatore. The exhibition will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Poompuhar, a government undertaking established in 1973, is dedicated to preserving Tamil Nadu's ancient crafts and uplifting the standards of local craftsmen. This year's Aadi Sale will feature a wide range of items, including copper and brass pooja items, brass gift articles, papier-mâché products, Tanjavur paintings, sarees, and wooden products.
The corporation anticipates sales of around Rs. 10 lakhs during the exhibition. Additionally, a special 10% discount will be offered on all products. Customers can conveniently use credit and debit cards without any service charges.
The Aadi Sale aims to showcase and promote the rich handicraft traditions of Tamil Nadu, providing a platform for artisans to reach a broader audience.
