Position of AIADMK: What happens next?

While the Madras High Court has issued an order on Wednesday that the AIADMK will continue as it was before the June 23 general council meeting and the interim chairman cannot convene the general council meeting, there are opinions being spread that this is a victory for the O.Paneerselvam's (OPS) side and a setback for the Edappadi K Palanisamy's (EPS) side.

In this case, what will be the next steps of EPS and OPS sides following this verdict? The question has arisen. After the verdict, O. Panneer Selvam along with his supporters Vaithilingam and Manoj Pandiyan visited former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's memorial to pay respects.
Speaking to the media after that, he said that no one can divide the AIADMK and we are giving this verdict as a gift to the one and a half crore members of the party. Everyone should unite. He also said that those expelled from AIADMK should be included. The future of the party has become questionable due to the bipartisan conflict. 

This is not a problem that can be solved in a day. If AIADMK's case is in court every day, what will happen to the party? Where is the charity going to be? The leaders of both sides do not seem to be worried about that.
Leaders are questioning the future of the party for their selfishness and desire for office. In fact, AIADMK is the strongest opposition party in Tamil Nadu. But, they themselves are the obstacle to that status. It is the BJP leaders who are criticizing the DMK as harshly as the opposition party. BJP is doing what AIADMK should do. The position taken by the BJP will evolve.

One faction of the AIADMK has full support of BJP and the other has partial support of BJP. No one can figure out where the future of AIADMK lies in this situation. Is there a chance of reconciliation within the AIADMK party? EPS has categorically stated that there is no chance for that. Edappadi Palaniswami's side has filed an appeal against the judgment of  the Madras High Court.

Subsequently, a caveat petition has been filed by OPS in the Madras High Court. O. Panneer Selvam has said in his caveat petition that any order should be issued after hearing the arguments of his side in the appeal case filed by Edappadi Palaniswami.If the conflict between the two leaders continues, what will be the fate of AIADMK has to be seen!
