Canadian education technology (edtech) company, Prodigy Education today announced its successful expansion in Tamil Nadu to upspeed math education with a game-based learning approach.
Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. was the chief guest at the programme. As part of the launch of its operations in Tamil Nadu, the global edtech company is supported by the CBSE School Management Association (CSMA), Tamil Nadu Correspondents Association of Private Schools (TNCAPS) and Trichy Sahodaya.
Since 2018, Prodigy Education has been on a mission to make online math learning fun and motivating for students across India. Through these partnerships, the edtech player is creating math learning familiar, stress free and immersive for over 70,000 students in the country. Prodigy Education’s game-based learning approach aligns well with the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. We are also experimenting in government schools in Tamil Nadu with activity-based teaching, so it is encouraging to see Prodigy has introduced a programme of teaching this subject in a game-like way said Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
