PSG bags I prize in BU chess tourney

Bharatiyar University Inter-College Chess Tournament was held at Kongu Arts and Science  College (KASC), Erode from Nov 14 to 16.  40 teams of men and women participated. Sri Vasavi College's Director of Physical Education Dr Ramesh attended as special invitee.

The winning teams were given prizes by the Correspondent of KASC Thangavel and the Principal Dr. N. Raman in the presence of KASC Director of Physical Education Dr. A Shankar.

 KASC professors made all the arrangements for the event. Winning teams are: Men's team: 1st place PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. 2nd Janakiammal College of Arts and Sciences, Coimbatore. 3rd- Chikannwa College of Arts and Science, Tirupur. 4th- Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Sciences, Coimbatore. Women's team: 1st - PSG Krishnammal Women Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. 2nd - PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. 3rd - Gobi Arts & Science College, Gobichettipalayam. 4th- Vellalar College for Women, Erode.
