PSG College of Technology Celebrates Platinum Jubilee on 75th Foundation Day

PSG College of Technology celebrated its 75th Foundation Day with a Platinum Jubilee event held on 3rd September 2025 at the college campus.
The celebration was graced by Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament from Thiruvananthapuram, as the chief guest, and Lakshminarayanaswamy, Trustee of SNS Sons Charitable Trust, as the guest of honour.
As part of the programme, six eminent alumni were presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award for their notable professional accomplishments and contributions to society. The awardees included Srinivasan Ravi, Chairman of Craftsman Automation, Coimbatore; Cottalango Leon, Distinguished Engineer at Sony Pictures Imageworks, USA; Vanitha Kumar, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering at Qualcomm Technologies Inc., USA; Gowthaman Ranganathan, Former Director at Oracle America Inc., USA; Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy, Co-Founder of nicheBrains, Hyderabad; and Kavitha Krishnan, Chief Technology Officer, Customer Innovation Services at SAP Labs, Bengaluru.
The function was presided over by L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons' Charities. G.R. Karthikeyan, Chairman of the trust, felicitated the awardees on the occasion.
The event also saw the participation of heads of PSG Institutions, former principals, members of the alumni association, alumni, faculty, and students, making the Platinum Jubilee a memorable milestone in the history of PSG College of Technology.
