R-Day celebrated with gaiety

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, (Deemed to be University), Coimbatore and Avinashilingam Educational Trust Institutions celebrated the Republic Day on 26th January 2023 with patriotic fervor and vitality.

 Managing Trustee Dr.T.S.K. Meenakshisundaram, Avinashilingam Educational Institutions graced the occasion with his presence.  Vice Chancellor of the Institute, Dr. V. Bharathi Harishankar hoisted the national flag and delivered the presidential address.

VILG delivered the Republic Day message

The chief guest, Dr. M. Sathya Kumar, Advocate- Supreme Court/ High Court/ Tribunals and founder of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Leadership and Governance (VILG) delivered the Republic Day message. “When preparation meets opportunity miracles happen” stated Dr .M. Sathya Kumar recalling his experience with the Institution. He attributed his leaning towards education and social service to the teachings of Mahatma Gandhiji, Shri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda and Avinashilingam Ayya Avargal. 

 The Controller of Examinations, Finance Officer, Assistant Registrar, the management members, trustees, Deans, HoDs, Faculty, non-teaching staff and students actively participated in the Republic Day Celebrations.
