Coimbatore District Collector Krantikumar Padi declared open renovated anganwadi centre in the Chittaputur Higher Secondary School, arranged by the school's Alumni Association, Rock Organization, CRI Pump on Thursday.
Corporation Commissioner Ma.Sivaguruprabahakaran, CRI Pump Vice President G.Soundharajan, President of Chittapudur HSS alumni association president G.Nirmala, Rock Organization Secretary R.Raveendran, Zonal Committee President Meenaloku, Chittapudur Higher Secondary School Alumni Association Secretary Mr. K. Manokaran, Committee members Mrs.Vithyaramanathan, Mrs.Prabharaveendaran, Integrated Child Development Projects Program Officer Mrs.Andal and Anganwadi workers, among others were present.
The Collector said, Anganwadi centers play a very important role in the development of children. From birth to 1000 days and up to 6 years of age, children's growth, weight, height, nutrition and brain development are all integrated one. If all these are available to them at that age, their intellectual and physical development will be very good in future, he added.
