Review on Integrated Farm development Scheme

Agriculture Minister MRK Panneerselvam reviewed the progress of Kalaignar integrated farm development scheme, being implemented in 1997 villages in the state, with the officials at a function held at Kongu Arts and Science College on Wednesday. Under the scheme, he said coconut saplings, seeds, drums, aid to create farm ponds, motors, dig borewells etc were given to ryots. 

The review meeting was held for Erode, Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Namakkal, and Tirupur districts. Ministers s Muthusamy, MP Saminathan, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, Agriculture Secretary Samayamurthy, agriculture marketing director S Natarajan, Horticulture Director Brindhadevi,  Collector 
H Krishnaunni, Anthiyur MLA AG Venkatachalam and TNAU VC Geethalakshmi attended the function.
