Rex Ortho hospital hosts Hip Experia symposium in Coimbatore

Rex Ortho Hospital is set to host Hip Experia, an international symposium on hip replacement surgery, on March 30, 2025, at Residency Towers. Organized under the leadership of Dr. C Rex, Director of Rex Ortho Hospital and Vice President of the Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association, the event will bring together renowned experts from India and abroad.
Dr. Martin Zimmerman, a scientist from Germany’s Ceram Tech, will introduce the Biolax ceramic base, a breakthrough in hip replacement treatment. The symposium will delve into the technical aspects, including the durability, wear resistance, and biological compatibility of ceramic implants.
The event will feature discussions by national and international specialists, with 250 delegates expected to attend. A special session will provide hands-on training for junior surgeons, enhancing their expertise in hip replacement techniques. Additionally, workshops will be conducted in collaboration with the Coimbatore Orthopedic Association, Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association, and Indian Orthopaedic Association.
