After 27 rat-trap mining professionals worked their way out of the Uttarakhand mine, the 41 trapped workers were ultimately freed. After 410 hours of effort, or 17 days, they were safely rescued.
Numerous Tamils have been active in the effort to save the miners' lives since the beginning. The first person to share the good news that their first worker had been saved was Chandran, a member of the rescue crew who is a Tamil. Television broadcasts worldwide aired his interview.
The specialists of the Tiruchengode-based Tharani Geo Tech Company were called upon to securely rescue the miners. They were the ones who initially made the endoscopic camera safe for use in the workplace.
They made it possible for the workers to survive for a considerable amount of time by giving them food and water. In addition, the rescue effort involved about 40 Tamil individuals. Of them, Shanmugam was in charge of the auger machine operating section.
This rescue effort was conducted out in collaboration with the State Disaster Response Force, the National Disaster Response Force, foreign experts, firefighters, army personnel, and rig company experts. It was reported at 8:40 p.m. yesterday that 41 personnel had been successfully rescued.
The relatives assembled there celebrated the workers' successful rescue by setting off firecrackers and bringing candies.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, visited the rescued workers, offered consolation.
Numerous dignitaries conveyed their felicitations and congrats, including President Draupati Murmu, Prime Minister Modi, Congress President Kharge, and Chief Minister of Delhi, Kejariwal.
