Rotary Club organises cancer and bone awareness program

A consultative meeting of Rotary Organizations under the Rotary Club of Coimbatore was held at the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Avinasi Road. Advocate Prabhu Shankar presided over the event. 
Rotary Club Coimbatore President Vijay Balasundaram and Secretary Saravanan presided over the event. Dr. Asha Rao, President of Rao Hospital was the special invitee in the event. Dr. Satish Kumar, Director of BRJ Hospital, were present. Speaking earlier, Dr. Asha Rao spoke about the increasing incidence of cancer among men and women and the measures to prevent it. 
Especially about vaccines to protect against cancer and women from cancers. 
Dr. Satish Kumar talked about the various modern treatment methods that have come in the treatment of bones. 
He explained about the methods to prevent the effects of bone wear and tear. 
Bone-related diseases and treatment methods, awareness about cancer was held in this event. 
Many executives from Rotary Club Coimbatore organizations attended.
