Royal Salute to Indian armed forces

On April 22, 26 unarmed civilians were killed, and several others were injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. During the attack, armed militants had separated men and women, and killed the men in front of their family members after asking their religious identity.
In Hindu religion, women put ‘Sindoor’ on their forehead after getting married to denote their marital status. They don’t put ‘Sindoor’ if they are widowed. In the attack, 25 women were widowed, and they could no longer put ‘Sindoor’. It has been said that the retaliation attack targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan was named ‘Operation Sindoor’, representing the sentiment.
The Indian army released a statement after carrying out the operation. In it, saffron from a bowl is scattered inside an ‘O’ in the word ‘Sindoor’. The logo was designed to symbolize the Pahalgam attack.
According to Hindu tradition, if a person dies, rituals are performed on the 16th day. It is believed that after that ritual, the soul of the deceased will find peace. Accordingly, Thursday was the 16th day after the Pahalgam attack, and the union government had carried out the retaliation attack on the 16th day. The attack on the terrorist camps was performed as a ritual to help the souls find their peace.
Responding to the Indian army’s attack, Pakistan’s army also bombed villages near the LOC. In which, 16 people have died. In addition, they have also tried to launch missiles targeting 15 cities, but that was nullified by the Indian army. The Indian army also shot down four Pakistani fighter jets.
The retaliation act was carried out by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi. It denotes how India celebrates women as a force, and it has amazed the entire world.
In Thursday’s war, the Indian army had destroyed two Pakistani missiles, and attacked eight cities in Pakistan, planting the flag of victory. Everyone including the political parties, women and minorities, are satisfied and happy with the attack carried out by the Indian army.
