Rs 482 cr water project for Chennimalai

After assuming power in 2021, the DMK rule has carried out Rs 482 cr drinking water scheme for the Chennimalai block to solve the drinking water problem permanently in the block, DMK Erode LS candidate KE Prakash said while canvassing vote in the block on Wednesday.

He said:  Steps have been taken to set up a sewage treatment plant at a cost of Rs.40 crore to solve the existing pollution problem in Perundurai Sipcot. Similarly, steps will be taken to improve road infrastructure facilities in rural areas. 1.5 lakh free electricity connection were given to farmers under the DMK rule. Naan Mutalvan Scheme, Kalaignar Women's Rights Scheme, Chief Minister's Village Road Development Scheme, Free Bus Travel for Women, schemes for Transgenders, Disabled Persons, Temple Lands Restoration Scheme, Home Search Education Scheme etc were important schemes of DMK rule for the past 3 years.

He distributed leaflets to the voters to explain the achievements of DMK rule.
