Sadhguru addresses people in front of Adiyogi statue on Republic Day

The 76th Republic Day celebrations at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore featured an inspiring address by Sadhguru in front of the iconic Adiyogi statue. Reflecting on India’s enduring cultural heritage, Sadhguru emphasised the nation’s pivotal role in shaping a sustainable and inclusive global future.
Sadhguru spoke about India’s legacy as a spiritual and democratic beacon, highlighting that its culture has thrived for millennia, irrespective of changing powers.

“India’s strength lies in its people, whose deep spiritual roots and inward journey have shaped a resilient civilisation,” he said.
Drawing parallels with the ongoing Kumbh Mela, he noted that India’s spiritual tradition once saw 30% of its population dedicated solely to inner exploration. “Even today, millions remain committed to this path, demonstrating the depth of India’s cultural ethos,” he added.
Sadhguru also lauded India’s unique harmony amid diversity, where families often worship different deities without conflict.
“This teaches the world that differences need not be the basis of disputes. Embracing this ethos is the future of humanity,” he remarked.
The event witnessed participation from thousands, including Sulur Air Base personnel, ashram residents, volunteers, tribal communities, and local villagers, united in celebration of India’s vibrant heritage.
