Sadhguru’s Cauvery Calling movement is organising a grand seminar titled “Transformative Agriculture for Lucrative Income” on June 22, at the Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital campus in Kulasekharam, Kanyakumari district. Envisioned by Sadhguru, Cauvery Calling aims to revive the depleting Cauvery River by planting 242 crore trees across its basin.
Thamizhmaran, the field coordinator of the Cauvery Calling movement, addressed the media today at the Chennai Press Club, sharing more details about the Cauvery Calling movement and the upcoming seminar for farmers.
The seminar will feature special addresses by Dr. Senthilkumar from the National Horticultural Research Institute, Bengaluru, along with scientists Dr. K. Kandiannan, Dr. S. Aarthi, and Dr. Mohammad Faisal Peeran from ICAR–Indian Institute of Spices Research.
In addition, pioneering farmers who have received national and state awards for tree-based farming will share their experiences, offering valuable insights to the participants.
