Sankara Eye Hospital establishes a dedicated‘Myopia iWellness Clinic’

Cognizant Foundation has partnered with Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Medical Trust, Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore to establish a full-fledged ‘Myopia iWellness Clinic’ which will help expand the services of the Paediatric Ophthalmology Department of Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. The Myopia iWellness Clinic was inaugurated by Dr Nandini Rangaswamy, Director, Board of Cognizant Foundationwho was also the chief guest at the event. 

Commenting on the launch, Dr. R.V. Ramani, Founder and Managing Trustee of Sankara Eye Foundation, said, "We at Sankara Eye Hospital are passionate about providing world class eye care with a social impact."

Dr Nandini Rangaswamy, Director, Cognizant Foundation Board,said “This initiative has the potential for early detection, and treatment of myopia, thereby creating a lasting impact by enhancing eye health among school-going children in Coimbatore and surrounding rural areas.”

Ms. Maya Sreekumar, VP, HR & Head of Operations & Cognizant Coimbatore Centre Head; Dr R V Ramani, Founder & Managing Trustee, Sankara Eye Foundation India,Dr Rajesh Prabu, Head of the Paediatric Ophthalmology, Sankara Eye Hospital, and Dr Radha Ramani the Co-Founder were the guests of honour for the event. Dr Shruthi Tara, other doctors and medical professionals at the hospital also joined the event.
