Saveetha Dental College and Hospital conducted star summit 2022

      Research is an art of imagination that evokes the power of understanding, perception, reasoning and judgment. Star summit is held to showcase the interesting research on latest inventions, innovations and implementation of advanced science in day to day life. 
 

In the current year, Star summit was conducted for a week in July 2022 at Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Chennai. 

More than 639 students comprising both undergraduates and postgraduates presented a total of 2574 posters from 32 distinctive subjects, which were evaluated by 189 judges and 315 peer judges. 

The studies are on Environmental, biotechnological, molecular, nanotechnology and in thrust areas of Health Sciences, Technology, legal etc. This was evaluated by prominent and Knowledgeable judges from various colleges across the state.
Dr N M Veeraiyan, Founder and Chancellor, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences stated that “Focus on research, pursue quality and passion for dentistry”. Research from the beginning of the course enhances education and in turn results in qualified professionals.

The Valedictory ceremony was conducted with Dr. G.A.Ramadass, Director, National Institute of Ocean Technology; Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Scientist ‘G’ and Head, International Health Division; Dr. Ravin Nair,Chief Operating Officer, QS I-Guage: QS-ERA India Pvt Ltd. being the Guests of Honor, 
who presented Best poster awards to the budding researchers in the form of trophies, medals and certificates.
