Seminar on Gender concern in S&T

KMCH College of Pharmacy organised One Day International Seminar on “Gender concern in Science and Technology, Rural Areas and Micro violence” in association with Department of Women’s Studies Bharathiar University, Coimbatore on Feb15.  The program was enlightened with the presence of Dr.Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman and managing director of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital and Dr.Thavamani D Palaniswami, Managing trustee, Kovai medical center research and educational trust. 

Department of Geography

The eminent speakers of the seminar were Dr.Susan M Shaw,Professor,Department of women, gender and sexuality studies, Oregon state university,USA,who was the chief guest, accompanied with Dr Laura Pallares Ameneiro, Department of Geography, Executive Secretary Project CRETCHEU, University of Santiago De Compostela and Dr Santos Dollars Xosemanuel, Department of Geography, University of Santiago De Compostela.

More than 200 students participated in the international seminar. Dr.A.Rajasekaran, Principal, KMCH College of Pharmacy welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest and speakers to the delegates.
