Seminar on GST payment

Coimbatore Civil Engineers Association organised a seminar on GST payment and registration. It was presided over by R Rajathurai, President of the Association, Society Secretary Damodaran Samy, Treasurer Somasundaram, and Vice President Maria Arogyasamy.
They said after agriculture, construction sector have largest number of workers. We have submitted a petition to Tamil Nadu Minister Muthusamy seeking a council for engineers, steps to reduce the cost of construction materials, and easier method to get local planning authority approval. 
Balakrishnan, chairman of Bannari Amman Sand Suppliers and Sasikumar, owner of Steel Mart, made arrangements for the event. 
In the meeting Chartered Accountant Thangam Arvind, special invitee, explained in detail on how to collect GST and file accounts. More than hundred engineers including former president of the association Jayavel, ex-treasurer Palanichami, PRO Raja participated.
