Sengunthar Foundation grants Rs 30 lakh Education Aid

The newly launched Sengundar Foundation awarded Rs 30 Lakh Scholarship to many poor students.
Dr. V Murugesan, former Vice Chancellor of Annamalai University inaugurated the foundation at Sengundar Wedding Hall in Erode and delivered a keynote speech. The foundation president S Masilamani said ''education will alone raise the standard of living of the poor and none could be denied education. So, to help poor and downtrodden, 100 philanthropists started the foundation. 

The Rs 30 lakh aid was given To help many students to pursue college studies. In future, free training would be arranged to attend TNPSC, NEET, JEE, IAS, IPS courses and the aid would be hiked to Rs 50 lakh every year, he added. Foundation secretary K Kalaiselvan welcomed.  The Mudaliar Educational Trust Secretary KK Balusamy, President V Rajamanikkam, advisory committee member VM Ilango, Sengundar Education Institute Secretary S Sivanandhan, Surya College of Engineering President Andavar Ramasamy, Foundation Consultant Auditor
