Shankar IAS Academy Coimbatore honors its TNPSC Group 1 achievers

Shankar IAS Academy Coimbatore organised a felicitation ceremony on Sunday to congratulate 5 of its students who successfully cleared TNPSC Group 1 Exams, recently.
Former member of UPSC, New Delhi and Former Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai Prof.E.Balagurusamy took part as the Chief Guest and felicitated the achievers Madhu Varshini, Assistant Commissioner - Commercial Tax; Harsha, Assistant Director of Rural Developement and Beulah Violet, DSP, in the presence of Arun Senthilnathan, Center Head, Shankar IAS Academy, Coimbatore and other invited guests. 
Other 2 achievers Larsen Israel (DSP) and Jeevitha, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Society were honoured in absentia.
Prof.E.Balagurusamy, the Chief Guest addressed the achievers from the academy and its students. He said civil service is the backbone of nation building, and the fundamental duty of civil servants is to serve the people. 
Talking about its importance in delivering good governance, he said civil servants are the bridge connecting people and government, and effective civil servants are crucial to achieve the goal of the Indian Government - which is to make India become a developed nation by 2047.
